Company History: Bob Hegge's Crooked Mountain Lines started out in 1952 as an HO railroad. In 1965, it was transformed into an O scale railroad using fine-scale wheels and code 100 rail. Born and raised in the Midwest, Bob was fascinated with mountain railroading. The Crooked Mountain Lines was a single track traction road winding is way through the high elevations of the Northwest. Bob was a professional photographer and over the years, photos of his layout grace the pages of many model railroad magazines. Those photos made Bob and his railroad well known to the hobby.
