Company History: Jerry Drake was well known throughout the hobby for his wit and wisdom sharing his experiences though clinics like "Blending Backdrops with Scenery." He not only educated with his clinics, but entertained with humorous tales in the Bulletin, lampooning himself and well-known modelers alike. His tales usually centered around his famous Bent Spaghetti Lines and each contained the promise of more to come with his trademark "Attza 'nother story."
A well-known Michigan model railroader, Jerry Drake (October 1913 - February 1980), passed away and willed his “Bent Spaghetti Lines” model railroad to the GVMRE and FMRC clubs. Many of the structures and some scenery elements were salvaged and incorporated into the display modules. In honor of Jerry’s memory, the display modules were officially named the “Jerry Drake Memorial Layout.”
