Company History: Bill Schopp's Moonlight & Violins Railroad was a pioneer railroad when it was created in the mid 1930 period during an era of paper tie strip, outside 3rd rail for 6 volt D.C. pickup and lots of trackwork crammed into a usually 4' x 6' table. Schopp became a prolific model railroad author, writing well over 1000 articles during his lifetime. Subjects included loco construction, kit bashing, layout design, trouble shooting and just about every other model railroad subject.
Brief History: The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.
