Specific Item Information: From mid-2002, SBB Cargo put a series of Taggnpps 31 grain silo wagons into service. Originally, the wagons were intended exclusively for the transportation of sugar and were fitted with corresponding side advertisements. The raw material for one of Switzerland’s most important products is mainly delivered by rail, which is why the wagons are now increasingly being used to transport cocoa from Amsterdam to Switzerland. The eye-catching stainless steel carriages usually run as block trains and then offer an impressive appearance.
