This superb N gauge European Kato Lemke 10-500-3 Pocket Line Steam Train pack includes 1x OBB BR 88 Black Steam Locmotive (unpowered) and 2x Green Passenger Cars (1 of which is powered).
A 3-piece passenger train, the locomotive is modeled on a Bavarian D6 mountain while the cars are based on Austrian boxcars. The small 2-axle locomotive is relatively delicate, since the drive is housed in the chassis of the first passenger car. The traction is good enough to pull another 3 cars. The drive is made of a high-quality 5-pole Kato engine. Models for this train currently still run on many Swiss, Austrian, Dutch, French and German heritage railways and clubs.

Model Information: These Engines are 009 Scale, which means they are a Narrow Gauge scale – 1:76 (roughly HO) scale in size but with 9mm (N) wheel spacing, allowing them to run on N Gauge Track. These can be integrated into an HO Layout through the use of N Gauge track and will make a striking addition to any layout display! Both the Prince and Princess are powered by a newly designed coreless motor drive which operates the two powered axles – one of which is fitted with a traction tire. Electrical pickup is present both under the locomotive as well as the tender, and the engines will come with PECO couplers making them compatible with PECO’s line of 009 Scale products!
