Company History: Talleyrand Terminal Railroad, later Jacksonville Port Terminal Railroad.
The TTR operates ten miles of line from connections with Norfolk Southern and CSX at Springfield Yard in greater Jacksonville, Florida to the Talleyrand Marine Terminal on the St. Johns River, 21 miles upstream from the Atlantic Ocean. The company was established by the Rail Link shortline group in 1996 and joined the Genesee & Wyoming shortline group later that year. Intermodal containers, molasses, vegetable oil, and automobiles make up much of the traffic. In 2017, Genesee & Wyoming sold this line to the Watco shortline group who changed the name to Jacksonville Port Terminal Railroad.
