Interstate Seed Co.

Company History: Started in 1917 by the Wilk and Gunkelman Families, Interstate Seed served America's Upper Midwest for more than half a century as a farm-seed and car-lot trading company. Interstate Seed remained a family-owned corporation until purchased in 1983 by Vanderhave B.V., a Netherlands company with the ability through its international network to better expand Interstate's sales and expertise throughout the world.

Brief History: The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC.
