Specific Item Information: Our model of Lindau's 'Mangturm' tower features the original painting since the renovation in 1979. The five-story lighthouse was erected as defensive tower at the harbor entrance around 1200 on the southernmost end of the city's fortifications. But at the same time it also served as landmark for mariners. Our model features all characteristics of the original: square layout, projecting upper floor, and roof with colorfully glazed tiles. The tower is named after the mangles in the nearby cloth halls. Dimensions: 55 x 48x 220mm
