Dong Fang

Company History: Dong Fang (Dong Fang International Investment, Ltd.), established in 1997, was an international container leasing, trading and management company based in Hong Kong. Effective May 3, 2016 Dong Fang Group was integrated with Florens Group.

Successor/Parent History: Since 1987, when Florens delivered its first container under long-term lease, we have steadily increased our commitment to the global shipping industry. Early on, we focused on the supply of dry and refrigerated containers on long-term leases for Asian-based accounts, particularly Cosco. In 1992, we invested in containers as part of third-party management programs. By 1995, our customer base for long-term units expanded to carriers outside of Asia.

Headquartered in Hong Kong, Florens Asset Management Company Limited leases, manages and sells containers around the world. The merger of Florens Container Holdings Limited and Dong Fang International Investment Limited in May, 2016 has enhanced the Company's market presence and overall competitiveness.
