Specific Item Information: Original model by Pola N ref. B 250. Now Faller reference 222197. Also available as Atlas 2851.

Molded in four colors.
Blue Coal Depot has Brown siding with two-tone Gray roof, the top roof is designed showing holes (this is intentional--not a defect). Coal depot has several levels (lower ground level--with several bins, 2nd level is attached to the coal chutes and top level). Some of the windows appear broken (again, intentional).

Model Information: Several Model Power structures are re-branded versions of European models (Pola N (now Faller), Piko, etc.)

Road Name History: Some items are designed to have their owner add whatever company marking they choose, usually in the form of decals or dry-transfers. These items are painted in a generic prototypical fashion but with all company affiliation deliberately left off.

Brand/Importer Information: Founded in the late 1960's by Michael Tager, the 3rd generation business specializes in quality hobby products serving the toy and hobby markets worldwide. During its 50 years of operation, Model Power has developed a full line of model railroading products, die-cast metal aircraft, and die-cast metal cars and trucks.

In early 2014, Model Power ceased its business operations. Its extensive portfolio of intellectual property and physical assets are now exclusively produced, marketed, sold, and distributed by MRC (Model Power, MetalTrain and Mantua) and by Daron (Postage Stamp Airplanes and Airliner Collection).
