Company History: This company was established in 1920 with the re-organization of the Gould Southwestern Railroad. It ran from a connection with Missouri Pacific’s mainline in Gould, Arkansas to Star City, 18 miles to the west. Traffic included farm products and textiles. It closed and was abandoned in 1959.
