Specific Item Information: Type BT 10 flat car for containers, with a brakeman's platform. Privately owned car used on the German Federal Railroad (DB). Z Gauge - Museum Car Set for 2006 "125th Anniversary of Kaiser-Brauerei, Geislingen, Germany".
Road Name History: SINCE 1881 – HANDMADE BREWING FROM GEISLINGEN AN DER STEIGE
The brewer Friedrich Kumpf showed entrepreneurial courage when he acquired the Kaiser brewery in 1881. With this step, the ancestor of today's owners linked the fate of the brewery and inn "Zum Deutschen Kaiser" - since time immemorial called "Kaiser-Brauerei" - with the name of the Swabian brewing family Kumpf.
With Christoph Kumpf joining the company in January 2015, the 5th generation is now taking responsibility for a regional quality product and, with a strong brand, also stands for the care and preservation of local brewing culture.
From the heart of the Kaiserbrauerei, the brewhouse, through the cold store and maturing cellar to the bottling plant, the operating facilities are in a continuous modernization process in order to be technically competitive - the artisanal family tradition and original brewing recipes will remain constant.
Fresh beers are still brewed in the Kaiser brewery according to these classic, traditional brewing recipes.
