Company History: SSR was launched in 2010 to preserve service on the 82 mile former Canadian Pacific line from Regina to Stoughton, Saskatchewan. SSR was originally established for the benefit of grain shippers but in 2012 an oil trans-loading facility opened in Stoughton bringing long tank trains to the line. Late in 2018, Watco was brought in to handle management functions. Watco handed off the job to Xpert Rail Consulting in the spring of 2020. The SSR fleet includes three B23-7’s, three GP38-2’s and three GP15D’s.
Brief History: The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.
