Successor/Parent History: The NWR was launched in 2000 as a subsidiary of the Nashville & Eastern. They operate 18 miles of line from downtown Nashville, Tennessee to Ashland City. The line is powered with a pair of GE B23-7’s. The NWR was purchased along with parent Nashville & Eastern in November, 2018 by RJ Corman who assumed operation the following January.
