Company History: The LS is the designated operator of 60 miles of line owned by the Luzerne County Redevelopment Authority in the greater Wilkes-Barre and Scranton, Pennsylvania region. The track is of Lehigh Valley and Delaware Lackawanna & Western ancestry. Traffic includes building materials, chemicals, food and beverages, and packaging materials. The LS shares management with the Owego & Harford, Meridian Southern and Lehigh Railway
