Kanawha River Terminal

Company History: This facility in Ceredo, West Virginia receives coal and coke from connections CSX and Norfolk Southern. The mission of this outfit is producing custom blends of coal and coke to fill the needs of specific steel mills. KRT switches its own yards with its own fleet of locomotives. Hoppers and gons are rotary dumped and the desired blends are loaded onto barges for delivery to the mills. They also handle steam coal and asphalt.
