Company History: This 17 mile line runs from Huger to a connection with CSX in Cordesville, South Carolina. The main customers are BP Amoco and Nucor Steel in Huger. The ECBR was built in 1977-78 specifically to serve the BP Amoco facility. The line was owned by South Carolina Public Railways. In 2013, ECBR and their two sister railroads under the South Carolina Public Railways banner were combined into Palmetto Railways.
