Transportation Company - Comox Logging & Railway - Railroad

Company History: This company was founded in 1910 as a subsidiary of Canadian Western Lumber Company to log the region between Comox and Campbell River and move the logs to the sawmills at Fraser Mills, British Columbia. In 1954, the operation was sold and became a subsidiary of Crown Zellerbach Canada. The area was logged over in the 1960s and the railroad was abandoned.
Brief History:
Canada is a North American country stretching from the U.S. in the south to the Arctic Circle in the north. Major cities include massive Toronto, west coast film centre Vancouver, French-speaking Montréal and Québec City, and capital city Ottawa. Canada's vast swaths of wilderness include lake-filled Banff National Park in the Rocky Mountains. It's also home to Niagara Falls, a famous group of massive waterfalls.
