Company History: The CNUR launched in 1997 to operate the former New York Central line between Connersville and New Castle, Indiana, a distance of 28 miles. The diesel fleet, which has included a trio of rebuilt first generation geeps, a GP38, and a pair of C425s, is a dog’s breakfast of patched paint schemes but CNUR number 20 is painted for a local school. Go Spartans!
Brief History: The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean.
