Company History: The CTR operates 3 weedy miles of former Atlantic Coast Line route between Clinton and Moltonville, North Carolina. In 1994, Waccamaw Coast Line took over operation of this line from CSX. The following year it was split from the rest of the WCLR, becoming the Clinton Terminal. Traffic includes coil steel and scrap. In 2023, the CTR was sold to the Regional Rail shortline group who will make it the Clinton Branch of their Carolina Coastal Railway.

It operates 6 railroads: East Penn Railroad, Florida Central Railroad, Florida Midland Railroad, Florida Northern Railroad, Middletown and New Jersey Railroad, and Tyburn Railroad, as well as the Conshohocken Recycling & Rail Transfer. It is based in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.
