Notes: The 2611 was a vintage ladies manual winding watch. It was prdouced for about 3 decades in various levels of case luxury. Common versions are available with a stainless steel case. Others were sold with fancy white gold and diamond cases. The movement is a manual hand-wind job. We have seen these with stainless steel bracelets and leather bands. I am not sure what they originally were sold with but I would guess the bracelet or band quality would be dictated by the materials that went into the case. A stainless case would carry a leather band, whereas a fancy gold case would be paired with a gold bracelet.
Mechanism:
Manual winding movement, 21,600 A/h, 17 OR 18 jewels, power reserve 44 hours. Used in ladies jewellery watches. Features: Manual winding movement, Escapement: Stone lever, Yoke winding system. It is one of the few Rolex movements to use Incablock shock protection.
Family Notes: The Precision is one of the most overlooked Rolex models ever made. This series is unusual not only because they are dress watches, but also because most of Precision models are powered by a manual-winding movement.
