Company History: The Illinois Canning Company was established by S.S. McCall in 1875. It was incorporated in 1877, and became known as Joan of Arc. Pillsbury bought the company next, putting it up for sale in 1995. It was at this time the employees banned together and bought the company renaming it Hoopeston Foods. Teasdale Foods, a California based business, bought Hoopeston Foods in 2012. It is still in production.
Brief History: The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.
