Burlington Junction

Company History: BJRY opened in 1985 to operate 3 miles of former Rock Island line in Burlington, Iowa. Since then, they have offered their services to operate short disconnect segments of line in three states: Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; Ottumwa, Iowa; Quincy, Illinois; Rochelle, Illinois; Montgomery, Illinois and Fenton, Missouri. They have about a dozen locomotives including the last operating (in regular freight service) Alco C415 center cab switcher.
