Associated Truck Lines

Company History: Associated started in 1918 in Grand Rapids, Mi.. Bought by American Natural Resources around 1980 and became ANR Freight System. Acquired/merged with Graves from Salina ,Ks, Garrett from Pocatello,Id.,Nuendorf from Madison,Wi., Centralia Cartage, Centralia.Il. ,Knox Motor Lines, Rockford.Il. and in 1995 merged with Advance Trans. from Milwauke,Wi. to form ANR/Advance. By this time they were a shadow of their former self and after a strike closed doors at end of Dec.1998.
