Company History: Coin Millwork was located in Prineville, Oregon, from 1959 until renamed American Forest Products Corp in 1977. It manufactured door frames, K-D window frames, and millwork.
It was founded and managed by Leonard E. Wilkinson until his forced retirement for illness in 1977. The company was sold to the Bendix Corporation of Southland, Michigan, in July, 1977. After Wilkinson’s death in February, 1978, his family retained ownership of the sawmill until 1979, when it was sold to the Jeld-Wen Corporation of Klamath Falls, Oregon.
