Nebraska Consolidated Mills

Company History: Nebraska Consolidated Mills (NCM) was founded in 1919 by Frank Little and Alva Kinney, who brought together four grain mills at Grand Island, Nebraska.
In 1971, Nebraska Consolidated Mills changed its name to "ConAgra Foods", with "ConAgra" being a portmanteau of "consolidated" and "agriculture."

Successor/Parent History: Conagra Brands, Inc. is an American packaged foods company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Conagra makes and sells products under various brand names that are available in supermarkets, restaurants, and food service establishments.
