Body Style Information: With Rapido Trains' "Easy Peasy" lighting system, interior lighting no longer flickers as passenger cars pass over switches and other trackage dead spots.

Button battery powered, which means there is no drain on layout powerpacks, these easily installed lighting kits eliminate the high cost of individual DCC decoder installations.

With "Easy Peasy", there is no soldering, no complex wiring, and no compatibility issues with DC or DCC systems.

Each lighting unit includes a light bar diffuser with attached LEDs, a Rapido Lighter magic wand, and two button batteries.

Measuring 9.75 inches x 1 inch x .1875 inches (247 mm x 25 mm x 6 mm) Rapido stock number 102003 will work with most HO and S Scale model passenger cars, trolleys, and buses.

Measuring 9.25 inches x .5625 inches x .1875 inches (237 mm x 14 mm x 6 mm) Rapido stock number 102013 will work with most narrow gauge and 72 Foot long (prototype) HO Scale passenger cars and in the clerestory roofs of Branchline Trains heavyweight passenger cars.

Brand/Importer Information: Rapido Trains Inc. is a high-end manufacturer of model trains and accessories in HO, OO and N (North American 1:160 and British 1:148) scales.

The firm's mission is to recreate the entire rail travel experience, from fully-detailed interiors and under-frames on models to fully-wired telephone poles for model railroads.

The name RAPIDO was introduced by Canadian National in 1965 to headline the railway's high-speed intercity passenger services.

Until the mid-1980s, RAPIDO stood for fast schedules, frequent trains, and superb service.

Today, Rapido Trains continues the RAPIDO concept with state-of-the-art models and attention to fine detail.

Not related to the venerable (and now defunct) German manufacturer Arnold Rapido, nor the present-day Arnold (which is owned by the United Kingdom's Hornby), Canadian based Rapido Trains was founded in 2003.
