Transportation Company - Boston & Worcester Street - Railroad

Company History: The B&WSRwy opened in 1903 linking its namesake cities in Massachusetts. Along the way, they purchased the Framingham Union Street Railway and the Framingham Southboro & Marlborough Street Railway. The line generally followed the Boston and Worcester Turnpike (later Route 9) and included street running and private right of way. B&SWRwy cars were often lettered “Boston and Worcester Trolley Air Line.” Trolleys were replaced with buses in 1932.
Brief History:
The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.
