Bluff City Electric Street

Company History: The BCESRwy opened their streetcar line between Waukegan and North Chicago, Illinois in 1896. The service was popular but debts incurred from construction caused problems from the outset. The year after it opened, the company was absorbed by Chicago & Milwaukee Electric Railway. By 1916, this line was part of the Chicago North Shore & Milwaukee.
