Specific Item Information: The model of the Tanoos 896 has been in use since 1998. The wagons are primarily used to transport potash, as this wagon causes particularly little dust during loading and unloading. But they are also used for the transport of feed, sand and other goods. The wagons are loaded via a pivoting roof and unloaded via four slides on the underside. They are mainly used in block trains. The wagons are mainly in use at DB, where they have already gone through various paint jobs and name changes such as DB Cargo, Railion, Railion DB Logistics and DB Schenker. There are cars with German and Dutch registration. In addition to DB, the wagon rental company Nacco also has the wagons in its fleet.
