Company History: The CKIN was established in 2004 by Indiana Boxcar Corporation to operate 33 miles of mostly former Chesapeake & Ohio lines in northwestern Indiana. The T shaped line runs from English Lake (just outside North Judson) to La Crosse then Malden. The second leg runs from La Crosse to Wellsboro. In the first seven years, traffic (primarily grain) more than quadrupled and has been steadily increasing since. The track is owned by the city of North Judson. The CKIN also hosts regular excursions by the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum.
