TroveStar Re-Stocks Rewards Inventory with Amherst Train Show Purchases

As our way of saying "Thank You," we recently shipped a handful of Rewards items [including MicroTrains and ExactRail 50’ boxcars, Atlas Beer Can Shorty Tank Cars (items NOT based on any real-life prototypes) and a Kato Container Car, Articulated Well, MAXI-I set] to Dan, Brad and Norman. These TroveStar contributors added more than 900 items to the n-scale train database. Thanks to their hard work, we are very, very close to hitting the 35K mark for total db items! Thank you!



Each time TroveStar Contributors earn items, we replenish our Rewards inventory. Sometimes we order new rolling stock, locomotives and/or accessories from one of our favorite retailers, Top Hobby Trains. In this case, we were able to find a wide assortment of items while attending January’s Amherst Railway Society Railroad Hobby Show — a sprawling 350,000 square feet of “everything and anything railroady.”

In between meeting with model train manufacturers, running trains on two different layouts (n-trak and t-trak) and tallying the Winterfest (n-scale) contest votes, we managed to squeeze in some shopping time. We found a nice variety of low- to high-priced items, which we hope will appeal to Contributors of all types (those with some, lots or oodles of time) to enter trains into the db.
