Strategy & Tactics - 281 - In Country

Description: This game simulates the entire US Vietnam War from 1965 - 1975. The campaign game can be considered 'Strategic' due to its potential length and scope, but the game is more easily played in 'scenarios' which simulate a more limited duration. Each turn represents one week, so a campaign game could potentially span 500 turns! A unique 'operations' mechanism helps limit how much can be accomplished in any given game turn which makes the subject somewhat less imposing.
Contents:
  • In Country: A Reinterpretation of US Military Operations in Vietnam by Joseph Miranda
  • Gettysburg: Could the South Have Won by Christopher Perello
  • The Battle of Iwo Jima by Ray Starmann
  • Actium: End of the Roman Republic by David R. Higgins
  • (FYI) Kunduz 2001 by Shireen Khan Burki
  • (FYI) The Springfield Musketoon by Wayne R. Austerman
  • (FYI) Blitzkrieg 1918 by Mark Day
  • (FYI) The Sturmgewehr 44 Assault Rifle by Jon Cecil
  • (FYI) Lt. Gen. Ngo Quang Truong by John Walker
Notes: This is a special 'double-size' game which includes two maps and two sheets of counters.
