Company History: This line was established in 2012 as a subsidiary of the Cleveland Commercial Railroad. The CHB ran a mile of terminal trackage owned by the Cleveland-Cyahoga County Port Authority plus 6 miles of trackage rights on CSX from downtown Cleveland, Ohio to CSX’s Collinwood Yard. This company was acquired by the OmniTrax shortline group in 2019 and renamed the Cleveland Port Railway.
Successor/Parent History: The wholly owned Cleveland Port Railway, LLC (CHB) provides rail switching services at The Port of Cleveland. CHB provides efficient access through the Great Lakes and Saint Lawrence Seaway with port-based warehousing solutions.
