Transportation Company - Brillion & Forest Junction - Railroad

Company History: This 7 mile line linking their namesake towns in Wisconsin was the result of a 1978 spinoff from Chicago & North Western. The party lasted just eight years. They lost the lease in 1985 and the line was abandoned. The RSC2u locomotive is of Milwaukee Road heritage (by way of a short stint on the Kettle Moraine Railway.) It was Milwaukee Road that lowered the short hood and turned the cab around, making the short hood the front. B&FJ had a modest fleet of TOFC trailers that really got around. That might be where you’ve heard the name before.
Brief History:
The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.
