Transportation Company - Arizona Central - Railroad

Company History: Also known as the Clarkdale Arizona Central Railroad, Arizona Central is the result of a 1989 spinoff from Santa Fe. It runs 38 miles from a connection with BNSF at Drake to Clarksdale, Arizona. Freight traffic is primarily coal and cement. The line is shared with the Verde Canyon Railroad which is a tourist hauler. A GP7 and GP9 handle the freight duties while a pair of FP7’s pull the tourist trains. Both companies are owned by David Durbano.
Brief History:
The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.
