Transportation Company - East Camden & Highland - Railroad

Company History: The EACH began operations in 1972 serving the Shumaker Ordnance Depot in East Camden, Arkansas. The depot was being converted to an industrial park. The line extends to Eagle Mills where it connects with Union Pacific (formerly Cotton Belt.) Traffic on this line includes chemicals, lumber, paper products and synthetic rubber. In 1983, they also took over operation of a former Rock Island route between Lille, Louisiana and El Dorado, Arkansas but sold it seven years later (it became the Ouachita Railroad.) EACH later became the designated switching service provider for three Army ammunition plants in Louisiana, Iowa and Tennessee.
Brief History:
The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.
