Description: Besides being collectible, this factory assembled and decorated Oxford Diecast metal replica is suitable for use on HO-Scale model train layouts.
Prototype Description: Based upon a 1961 Lincoln Continental four door convertible, SS-100-X was a United States Presidential State car that was modified to Secret Service specifications by Hess & Eisenhardt of Cincinnati, Ohio.

An open car with an assortment of optional tops, SS-100-X is commonly associated with President John F. Kennedy's assassination, on November 22, 1963.

In late December 1963, the Midnight Blue Presidential Limousine was returned to Hess & Eisenhardt for repairs and the addition of titanium armor plating, bullet resistant glass, and a bulletproof fixed roof.

Refinished in black after the assassination, the former State Car was retired in 1978, and currently resides in the Henry Ford Museum, in Dearborn, Michigan.
