Description: Dresser
Dimensions: 34 1/2" Wide x 37 1/2 High x 22 3/4 Deep
Notes: This piece likely came from a furniture maker in New England. A Rococo design is apparent from the reverse-serpentine shape and large overhanging top. The boldly proportioned brass handles and escutcheons and brackets above ball and claw feet have are an excellent example of the Chippendale influence in America at the time.
